How does the once-a-day fortune mode work?
In once-a-day mode, the tool checks today's date against the last date you opened a cookie in your browser's local storage; if it's a new day, it randomly picks a fresh saying and remembers it, and if you open another cookie later the same day, it shows you that same saying again instead of a new one.
