How is the housing subscription score calculated

Add the no-home period score (up to 32), dependents score (up to 35), and subscription account age score (up to 17) for a maximum of 84 points. Beyond the under-1-year band, the no-home period and account age scores rise by 2 and 1 point per additional year.

This does not account for special no-home-period rules for unmarried applicants under 30, re-winning restrictions, or special supply eligibility. Confirm your exact score and eligibility on Korea's official Cheongyak Home (applyhome.co.kr).

How is the housing subscription score calculated

Add the no-home period score (up to 32), dependents score (up to 35), and subscription account age score (up to 17) for a total out of 84 points. Example: 3 years without a home (6 points), 2 dependents (15 points), and a 5-year-old account (7 points) gives a total of 28 points.

Calculation steps

  1. Enter your no-home period in years (unmarried applicants under 30 may use a different starting point).
  2. Enter your number of dependents, not counting yourself.
  3. Enter your subscription account age in years.
  4. Each value maps to a score band under the official point table.
  5. Add the three scores together for your total (out of 84).

Scoring basis

total score = no-home period score (max 32) + dependents score (max 35) + account age score (max 17)
  • no-home period: 2 points under 1 year, +2 points per additional year, 32 points at 15+ years
  • dependents: 5 points at 0, +5 points per person, 35 points at 6+
  • account age: 1 point under 6 months, 2 points at 6mo-1yr, +1 point per additional year, 17 points at 15+ years

Frequently asked questions

How is the no-home period counted for unmarried applicants under 30?

There's a special rule that starts the count from the applicant's 30th birthday, among other conditions. This calculator applies only the general counting method — if this applies to you, confirm the exact start date on Cheongyak Home.

Does a spouse count as a dependent?

Yes, a spouse and direct relatives registered on the same household register generally count, subject to detailed eligibility rules. Confirm the exact scope in the official Cheongyak Home notice for your listing.

If 84 is the maximum, what score actually wins?

Winning cutoffs vary widely by region, complex, and competition ratio — popular metro-area listings sometimes require 60+ points. This calculator only computes your own score; it does not predict winning odds.

Can I apply with a good score if I'm subject to a re-winning restriction?

No — separately from your score, you must also meet eligibility rules like re-winning restrictions and household-head requirements. This calculator only computes the score, not eligibility.

This calculator applies only the general point-scoring table as a reference estimate. It does not reflect the special no-home-period rule for unmarried applicants under 30, re-winning restrictions, or special supply eligibility — always confirm your exact score and eligibility on Korea's official Cheongyak Home (applyhome.co.kr).
